We are looking for an architect who can design and draft more plans we can list for sale on our website. /plans

They will be a mixture of different types of homes, from tiny homes on wheels, to a frames, to tree houses, etc.

The work will largely consist of creating plans we’ll be selling on our website. But there may be some custom plans designed to customer specifications. Along with the ability to facilitate customizations of tiny home plans.

We’re looking for both DD & CD drawings with everything that’d be needed for someone to DIY build the tiny home. We’d want the designer to be well versed in IRC code.

Then we’re needing the person in this role to create Photo realistic 3D renderings of the home so we can have photos / video to show on the listing page.

The hours can be flexible. Along with expected work hours can be in your time zone (with the exception of some training and meetings with custom Design clients)

Hiring Goal:
Hire an experienced full-time architect to handle the creation and management of tiny home construction blueprints and 3D renderings and Photorealistic renders.

We will break the main job tasks into 4 categories.

1. Create Tiny House Plans
-Ideation of new plans. Research on what plans are trending along with timeless.
-Software expertise is flexible (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)
-All supporting documentation for plans including but not limited to material take off lists, door and window schedules, framing plans, construction drawings, typical detail call out drawings, systems, site plans, etc.
-Plans to be designed to the IRC code

2. Create 3D Photo Realistic Renders
-Create renders for each plan set with environment, textures, furniture, high quality interior design, and great lighting.
-Experience in Interior Design and landscape design in regards to the digital renders

3. Customer Service Management
-Coordinate and manage all clients we’re creating custom tiny home plans for
-Sales related questions
-Processing Customer Support Questions regarding all architectural plans

-Organized and able to keep files and folders up-to-date with the latest versions of plans and any modifications for alt plans
-Potentially Host design workshops / events (if you’re not interested in this part, please let us know. This isn’t required)
-Other misc duties

Additional skills / traits we’d like the employee to have:
-Licensed architect is preferable, but not required.
-Thinking outside the box: we’d like the person to be able to bring ideas to the table of how we could grow the business and how to streamline processes, etc.
– Independent thinker and self driven to achieve

-Flexibility: sometimes we need to start a new product line or feature, or try a new affiliate product. Sometimes we need to cancel a specific activity of the business, etc.

Additional notes:
-We are requiring full-time work exclusively for us
-The person can work during the day in their local time, but some night shift hours will be needed
