Overview:
We are in search of a proficient Architect Draftsperson skilled in SketchUp Pro and Layout to join our team. The ideal candidate will not only excel in 3D modeling, particularly in bathrooms, kitchens, and laundry spaces but will also possess the ability to translate these designs into detailed layouts that tradespeople can execute with precision. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to residential renovation projects and interior design endeavors.
Responsibilities:
– Utilize SketchUp Pro to create detailed 3D models of bathrooms, kitchens, and laundry areas.
– Translate 3D designs into precise layouts using SketchUp Layout for tradespeople to follow.
– Collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, and clients to grasp project requirements and objectives.
– Transform conceptual designs and sketches into accurate digital models and layouts.
– Ensure that models and layouts are optimized for efficiency, accuracy, and ease of understanding by tradespeople.
– Provide valuable input and suggestions for design enhancements and practical execution.
– Generate high-quality renderings to visually represent designs and present them to clients effectively.
– Maintain meticulous organization of files and documentation for each project.
Requirements:
– Proficiency in both SketchUp Pro and SketchUp Layout with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
– Strong understanding of interior design principles and residential renovation projects.
– Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in modeling and layout creation.
– Ability to work efficiently and effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate smooth collaboration with team members and clients.
– Portfolio showcasing previous work in SketchUp Pro and Layout, as well as interior design projects.
