WordPress Developer (Custom Booking Page Specialist)

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced WordPress Developer with a strong focus on creating custom booking pages and implementing custom post types. This role requires an individual with a deep understanding of WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing a seamless and intuitive booking system integrated within our existing WordPress site, tailored specifically to our business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement a custom booking page for our WordPress website that aligns with our brand and meets our specific functionality requirements.
Create and manage custom post types to facilitate the easy management and display of bookable services or products.
Ensure the booking page integrates smoothly with our existing website design and structure, providing a seamless user experience.
Implement responsive design principles to ensure the booking page is accessible and performs well on various devices and screen sizes.
Work closely with the project manager and design team to translate visual concepts into functional online experiences.
Customize and enhance existing WordPress themes and plugins to accommodate new features and functionalities as required.
Perform thorough testing of the booking system across different browsers and devices to identify and fix issues prior to launch.
Provide documentation and training to the team on managing the booking system and updating content as necessary.
Stay updated on the latest WordPress development practices and security measures to ensure the site remains secure and efficient.
Requirements:

Proven experience in WordPress development, specifically with creating custom booking pages and implementing custom post types.
Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery.
Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles.
Knowledge of the best practices in website architecture, user experience, and WordPress security.
