Are you amazing at writing English and doing research?

I’m looking to hire someone who is an EXCELLENT English writer (conversational tone, not formal), and also a pro at doing research.

The job you will be doing is writing “first lines” for my email marketing campaigns. If you have no email marketing or copywriting skills at all, it doesn’t matter – the ONLY skills you need are to be able to write really good, grammatically correct English and do research.

It’s a very easy job. I’ll give you information on our potential clients (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc) and you’ll do research on the person, and write a short 1-2 sentence compliment on something you discovered in the research. The more personal the better.

Here’s an example of my process:
– Check out the prospects Facebook and LinkedIn page
– Figure out their company name from those social medias
– Google the name of customer and company name, see if there are any articles etc
– Search YouTube for the name of customer and company name to see if they have any videos
– Find the customers personal IG, see if there’s anything related to business
– If you find any videos anywhere, podcasts, or articles they’ve done (like one of those ones I did had an article) those would be the best first place to go because it shows we really researched

Here are some examples of great first lines I wrote (each line is for a different prospect):

– Saw your testimonial on YouTube from a few years back with Joanne, crazy savings you got her. You must be crushing the Facebook ads game

– I hear you’re the Solar King, and I also saw you got your dream car from knocking doors.. congrats man. You’re clearly crushing the Vegas market

– Read your feature in the Jacksonville Daily Record, congrats on the insane growth despite COVID. You must be the Jacksonville Roofer King now, W.W. Gay has nothing on you

– Saw your interview on Biz TV, genius strategy to aggressively partner with roofers. You must be dominating Texas

– Saw your YouTube video when you were at Apricot, that carport job is insane. Nice work. Your video is giving me Grant Cardone vibes

You need to be able to write just like this. It’s not formal by any means, it sounds friendly and conversational – and is a genuine compliment on the person.

So to summarize, your entire job will be research prospects from lists I give you, and writing very personalized compliments on them (mostly about their business)
