Job Description:
We are a New Zealand based short term rental company looking for an experienced VA with customer support experience in the short term rental industry (minimum 1 year). You’ll be working closely with our CEO and communicating with guests via phone and our PMS (Guesty/Hostaway).

Detailed Responsibilities:
1. Send a daily report through email, detailing completed and ongoing tasks.
2. Respond to guest enquiries via our booking system Guesty/Hostaway, webchat and inbound phone calls
3. Update property listing descriptions in Guesty/Hostaway, and property manuals in our CRM (LeadConnectors)
4. Update list of contacts in LeadConnector and organise them according to the right categories.

Required Technical Skills and Experiences:
To qualify for the position, you will need at least 1 year experience in the following
1. Email and Phone customer service in short term rental industry
2. Short term rental Property Management Systems (such as Guesty, OwnerRez, Hostaway etc)

Soft Skills
We work in a fast paced industry. So it’s really important that our you would be:
1. A fast learner
2. Pays close attention to detail
3. Follow instructions to the letter

Basic skills
You need to have excellent English skills, Is it also important to use the applications listed below. You don’t need to be an expert in all of them, but you need to be at least familiar with most of them.
– Web research using search engines like Google, IE, Bing, etc
– Gmail and other email applications
– Google Docs
– Google Sheets
– Google Calendars
– Communications apps like WhatsApp, FB messenger
– Property Management Software such as Guesty, OwnerRez, Hostaway
– Screen recording software such as Loom

Desired technical skills and experience
We’re looking for someone who can grow with us and rise from the ranks. If you have the following skills, this can help you
1. Writing copy for listing descriptions
2. Social media management

Work schedule and holidays
This is a full-time position, 1pm to 5pm NZ standard time. The other 3 hours are flexible.
You’ll qualify for 3 vacation leaves and 3 sick leaves after the 6 month probation period. We honour most Filipino holidays except for All Saints and All Souls Day

Salary
Starting from $530 USD per month for full-time work (40 hours a week)

Once you complete your 6 months probation, you will get:
– 13th month
– Cash equivalent for leaves not taken

Trainings provided
If accepted, you will be provided with property management software training and social media management training to help respond to customer queries through the PMS, Facebook, and Instagram.

Career potential
You’ll be working with the CEO. As our business grows, you will have the opportunity to manage your own team of VAs.
Performance and pay reviews are every four months.
