Immediate Start | Full-Time Position

Overview:

We’re looking for a seasoned Art Director to helm our graphic design department, creating impactful visuals for both local businesses and corporate clients. This role demands a high level of creativity, independence, and an intuitive grasp of client needs to produce refined final products without extensive direction. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio that showcases their ability to work across various art directions and demonstrates significant experience in leading design projects to completion.

Responsibilities:

– Independently conceptualize and execute design projects from brief to final deliverables, catering to both local stores and corporate entities.
– Lead the creative process for Google and Facebook ad graphics, ensuring alignment with client objectives and brand guidelines.
– Offer strategic design recommendations based on client briefs and marketing objectives.
– Manage and prioritize a diverse project workload with minimal oversight.
– Ensure high-quality design output that requires no revisions.

Qualifications:

– Extensive experience in graphic design or art direction, preferably in an agency setting, with a portfolio showcasing a wide range of work including corporate and local business projects.
– Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and familiarity with animation/video graphics tools.
– Strong understanding of design principles, including layout, typography, and color theory, and the ability to apply them in various contexts.
– Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English for both written and verbal instructions.
– Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Growth and Evaluation:

The role commences with a 1-month trial period to ensure fit and satisfaction on both sides, followed by formal performance reviews at 90 days and 6 months, focusing on creativity, efficiency, and ability to meet project objectives.
