What I am focusing on right now are sublimation tumbler designs. I am creating them using midjourney ai with an aspect ratio of 9:8 (Sizing will be approximately 9.3 x 8.2″)
So the process would be this:
1. I will upload the raw art to a google drive which you would have access to. Designs would be inputted according to the day created in sub files.
2. The DPI would need to be increased to 300 DPI and any other specifications you believe are needed to make it a good print product and within Etsy’s requirements.
3. The file would be assigned a name. It would include the main element and some of the design elements. Ex: unicornheartfloralboho I would provide you with the prompts used to create the design and the list of elements (animals/bugs/flowers). I may try to name the file before I put it in the folder and if so this step would not be necessary.
4. A jpg and png would need to be saved at high resolution into a folder in google drive. That folder will hold all the designs. Smaller folders can be created within the store folder to put all related subjects (dogs, cats, pigs, butterflies, etc.)
5. I will provide you with 3 mock up templates that work well in canva and kittl and you will put each design into the mock up template using whatever program works for you. The mock up file is a png and there is a cut out section that will sit over the image to create the illusion of the design being wrapped around the tumbler.
6. Mock ups and downloads will be added to a draft listing in etsy.
I am just starting out but once momentum grows hours can increase.
