ABOUT THE COMPANY
Yaran Property Group (Yaran) is a Western Australian property development company that specialises in affordable build-to-rent housing. The company was established in 1996 and has developed over 1100 dwellings across 60 different developments. The company currently owns 180 residential rental properties in Perth, and a pipeline of a further 500 dwellings to commence construction in the next 12 months. The company is aiming to develop 2000 dwellings in the next 5 years.

ABOUT THE JOB
Yaran is seeking a Personal Assistant for Business Development Manager role on a full-time ongoing basis. This is a very exciting role in assisting a Business Development Manager in managing a portfolio of properties for people with disabilities and all matters related to the property that these people are living-in.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The role, tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Liaison with tenants, contractors, and clients
• Following up matters with tenants, stakeholders, support providers, business partners.
• Working with accounts team to ensure invoices are generated and paid.
• Collecting client information and passing onto Business Development Manager.
• Administration – compiling and saving documents, data entry
• Obtaining quotes for maintenance jobs/requests
• Collation and processing quote requests and work orders for home modifications for people with disabilities.
• Managing maintenance requests required for ingoing, ongoing and outgoing tenancies
• Collaborating with leasing department to prepare lease documents and ad hoc documents
• Informing leasing department of ingoing and outgoing tenancies in administration and coordination with stakeholders
• Sending out correspondences such as emails, newsletters, and documents
• Taking and returning calls and messages for the Business Development Manager
• Tracking of expenses for bills/invoices
• Invoice management, uploading and disseminating the invoices to the wider team
• Reviewing, comparing, and actioning property reports, escalating for further action where required
• Preparing reports on Business’ performance and important matters to be actioned.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:
• Bachelor’s Degree in either Business/Commerce, Engineering, Business Administration, Management, Property or Property Management
• Passion for assisting people with disabilities with their property-related issues;
• Customer service oriented

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong command of the English Language (written and verbal)
