We are looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager to help the general manager in directing daily business operations. The assistant general manager must have supervisory experience and be able to confidently provide performance feedback, establish goals, foster collaboration, and communicate business objectives. The AGM must be capable of performing duties proficiently in the absence of the general manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist the General Manager in managing day-to-day operations, decision-making, and strategic planning.
Provide leadership and guidance to department managers and staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Oversee the implementation and execution of operational processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Identify training needs, organize training programs, and mentor staff members to foster professional growth and improve skills.
Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of service and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Assist in developing and implementing long-term business strategies, including market analysis, competitive positioning, and expansion plans.
Prepare and present reports, performance metrics, and analyses to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for innovation, efficiency, and cost-saving measures.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and best practices, applying relevant knowledge to enhance organizational performance.
Uphold high ethical standards and promote a culture of integrity, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and legal regulations
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a managerial or supervisory role, preferably in the same industry or a related field.
Proven experience in managing and developing a diverse workforce.
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
In-depth understanding of the industry, market trends, and competitors.
Great interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
An ability to deliver constructive criticism.
Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for project management, data analysis, and reporting.
An ability to identify weaknesses and provide coaching where necessary.
