Job Summary:

Exciting opportunity for a talented professional to join our Development team in Los Angeles as an Assistant Project Manager (APM). You’ll assist in overseeing real estate development projects, working closely with the Project Manager (PM) and various stakeholders to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery. The ideal candidate will excel in risk assessment, and communication, and possess experience in all stages of real estate development.

Objectives:

Assist the Project Manager in overseeing project processes.
Manage multiple projects, prioritizing workload to meet timelines.
Ensure adequate project team resources and provide effective leadership.
Manage project lifecycle and strategize to minimize cost and time.

Responsibilities/Duties:

Assist across project lifecycle, manage relationships, and communicate project statuses.
Utilize Project Management software, keeping it updated for each project.
Support Project Manager in planning, defining scope, scheduling, and reporting.
Oversee tendering process, coordinate project meetings, and allocate resources.
Manage subcontractors, oversee cost estimation, and proactively address scope changes.
Ensure projects meet budget, schedule, and specifications.
Conduct marketing research on target cities and opportunity zones.
Oversee bid process, coordinate with trade professionals, and organize bids per projects
Make sure to provide all necessary updates to our stakeholders on weekly reports generated from our Project Management Software
Read and understand development plans and specification is a PLUS

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s and/or Associate’s degree preferred; not mandatory
Computer literacy, including Microsoft and Google applications.
Experience with PMS tools such as Zoho Project, MS Project, etc.
Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to meet deadlines, conduct internet research, and follow directions.
Familiarity with Zoho, Dubsado, MS Project, Trello, and GSuite.
Excellent grammar, spelling, and professional demeanor.
Ability to read and understand plans and specifications is a plus.
