• $1,100 per month.

Hours of Operation / Work Hours
• 9:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday EST/New York time, sometimes longer when needed.

We are looking for someone to join our Overseas Team as a remote Assistant to Director of Operations & Purchasing Specialist for the Eastern US region. This is a long-term employment opportunity, not a side-hustle/gig work. You will be working with a team in this role.

The role requires being available for calls during your work shift and occasionally after when needed. Please be prepared to demonstrate the ability and desire to learn quickly, exhibit strong communication & organizational skills.

About Us:
We are a Food Manufacturer with facilities in California, Chicago and Pennsylvania. Our company manufacture and supply food products to companies in the Foodservice (large restaurant chains, hotels and ingredient to other food manufacturers) and Retail (groceries and supermarkets) sectors for the last 50 years.

Job Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
• Assist the Director of Operations in an Administrative/Executive Assistant function
• Always be on top of things, never allowing things to fall through cracks
• Perform manufacturing materials inventory analysis and purchasing planning
• Purchasing of materials for manufacturing.
• Tracking of ordered materials’ delivery dates and manage changes for timely delivery
• Provide various reports as it relates to materials purchasing.
• Utilize business applications to analyze inventory, Create POs, Reports etc.
• Provide timely information regarding potential supply constraints or lead time delays
• Other duties to be assigned

Job Qualification
• Solid organizational skills, attention to detail and multitasking skills.
• Strong ability to track and prioritize tasks, autonomously or within a team.
• Detail oriented, possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to demonstrate Professional Communication Skills (You will be talking with the Director of Operations, manufacturing staff and vendors).
• Must have a clear understanding of the basic manufacturing operations as it relates to raw materials and inventory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Management, Engineering, Finance or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Associate’s Degree or relevant job experience is required.

Experience:
• At least 1 year experience in purchasing Raw Materials/Ingredients, Packaging Materials and tracking the demand/inventory. (Food industry experience is preferred)
• At least 1 year experience in administrative support executive assistant role
• REQUIRED: Proficient with Microsoft Office applications – Word, Outlook
• REQUIRED: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• ERP system experience preferred

*You need to have a solid internet connection for this job. Having dual monitors is a plus. A good webcam is required as you will be in a continuous Microsoft Teams Video Meeting during work as a remote office worker.
