As a part-time assistant to the general manager and the newest addition to the Lift-Off Global Network team, you’ll work across various areas within the company, working closely with the manager to help facilitate productivity.
Your role will require you to meet with the general manager once weekly, where you’ll be assigned a range of tasks & projects. Training and support will be provided via Loom.
This role is part-time (20 hours/week), and apart from 1 regular weekly meeting per week, you can complete your tasks in your own time.
What you’ll do:
–> Supporting office & admin tasks: file processing, data entry and workflow management
–> Website & communication: writing and publishing announcements via WordPress and creating film-festival programmes on Vimeo on Demand.
–> Social media posts and email copywriting: drafting communications and working towards deadlines.
–> Publishing weekly reports
–> Research
What we’re looking for:
–> You have a fluent grasp of both spoken and written English.
–> You have a firm grasp of technology and are comfortable working in various web applications and learning new ones.
–> You have some experience in copywriting and social media management.
–> You like working on deadlines and being accountable for your work.
–> You can solve problems.
–> You are fluent with Gsuite (Google Sheets, Docs, etc.) and have excellent computer skills.
–> Interest in indie film is a bonus (it’s the industry that we serve)
Bonus:
–> Working knowledge of WordPress, Photoshop, Canva, & Vimeo.
