Job Description

I am looking for a Full-Time Assistant Video Editor

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills (Required)
You will work with our lead editor posting and re-cutting videos from our YouTube Channel Syntell.

High experience video editing is a must. Our company uses Davinci Resolve. Please have your own video editing software until you are familiar with Davinci Resolve. (ex: Screen Flow, Premiere, Final Cut). The great news is that Davinci Resolve is FREE. Just Google how to find it.

You must have an understanding of the following:
– Creating intros/outros
– Audio syncing
– Overlaying video
– Seamless cuts for conversational audio

You must have a general understanding of YouTube’s platform, and that includes the following skill sets:
– Thumbnail creation
– Keyword research
– Making playlists
– Creating end cards
– Scheduled postings

Prepping video footage for our lead editor and preparing the Uncut videos for our Patreon page will be a daily task

About Me:
My channel is called Syntell. With over 40,000 active subscribers, we are a movie/television review channel. We cover video topics that interest Geek/Nerd culture for people of color.
Much of the video editing for now will involve helping our lead editor prepare videos for our Patron page. Our Patreon is where our audience can review uncut footage of our live reactions.
Our goal to spread awareness of amazing content from all around the world. We would like you to become a part of it.
