Job Description

We at Hypothesis are seeking to add an Associate Customer Support Engineer to join our Support team. This key customer-facing role is responsible for user support, technical onboarding, and documentation to ensure that our users and partners have a seamless experience and are delighted by their use of Hypothesis products.

Role and Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
– Handle and manage support requests across multiple channels (ticket inbox, Slack, Twitter, and more)
– Provide technical guidance to ensure successful installation of our app
– Document systems and processes to help expand knowledge of Hypothesis technologies
– Gather support statistics and help identify feature requests for product and service improvements.

Requirements and Skill Set
– At least 3 years of experience providing direct technical support to users
– Excellent language skills allowing clear and empathetic communication with a wide variety of users. You are comfortable in both group and 1:1 user meetings over screen share.
– Prior work in ed-tech or SaaS environments preferred
– Solid understanding of web technologies, web standards, and browser platforms (you don’t need to be a Javascript developer, but you should know how to read a browser console).
– A plus if you have familiarity with Learning Management Systems, along with the Learning Tools Interoperability standard.

The position is 100% remote work, which gives you flexibility, but you must have a relatively good working environment where you can work quietly and uninterrupted.

The schedule can be flexible between 7AM to 9PM US PACIFIC TIME, Monday to Friday.
