Dynamic Advertising Solutions in Philadelphia, PA is seeking an Associate Graphic Designer to join our company on a full-time basis of 40 hours a week.
Dynamic Advertising Solutions (DAS) in Philadelphia, PA is a print marketing company specializing in promotional products, apparel, print, and graphic design services. From something as simple as printing their logo on a water bottle or t-shirt to designing a wide array of marketing materials and signage, we help our clients bring their marketing goals to life.
As a company, we have fun, work hard, and want every team member to feel at home. Our team includes sales representatives, account managers, graphic designers, interns, and more ? all working side-by-side in our modern office located in Roxborough.
Summary of Position
As an Associate Graphic Designer at DAS, you will never be bored. Each day brings a breadth of design challenges, and a unique opportunity to gain experience working on a wide variety of project types for both well-known brands and small businesses all in a fast-paced, fun, and casual environment.
The Ideal Candidate
You have 1-2 years of experience in Graphic Design
You have stellar skills in Adobe Illustrator and a good working knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can handle deadlines
You have strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks
You are organized and have good time management skills
You are a self-starter and can think independently
You have strong written and verbal communication skills and consider yourself strong with spelling and grammar
You are proficient on a Mac computer
Responsibilities Include:
Setting up proofs for apparel and promotional products (shirts, hats, sweatshirts, pens, mugs, etc.)
Setting up existing artwork from clients to our print specifications for various paper products (postcards, posters, envelopes, banners, business cards, letterhead, etc.). This requires using your design sensibilities to adjust artwork to fit templates, save to the proper file type, verify image resolution, etc.
Creating original designs for both print and web use. Common items you may be asked to design include: shirt/apparel designs, business cards, banners/signs, flyers/brochures, social media images, logos, etc.
PMS matching artwork to PMS Solid Coated colors or vendor stock PMS colors.
Manipulating vector art; re-creating raster logos or artwork as vector art
Proofreading and making edits to large-scale print jobs.
Designing internal graphics for the company
Keeping an open mind with a desire to learn. We often embark on project types that we have never encountered or create entirely custom products from concept to completion. Some of these projects require navigating your way through unknown territory and using your creativity to come up with solutions with little or no guidance.
Experience:
Adobe Illustrator: 1 year (Required)
Basic understanding of Photoshop and InDesign
Working knowledge of vector graphics
