Our WordPress Developers and Designer will mainly be working on creating well designed templates to demo to potential clients, populating them with stock images and filler copy while taking inspiration from other websites and designing custom templates we can. As well as delivering websites for clients promptly and collaborating with the copywriting team to understand the client’s business. While optimizing the sites for Google searches
Your weekly responsibilities would include:
1) Creating well designed and well built one page websites from scratch or from a template so sales can demo them to potential clients
2) Delivering sold clients by expanding on templates that have been demoed and turning them into a fully-fledged functioning website
3) Optimizing text tags, alt text, keywords, and ensuring websites are following good SEO practice
4) Speaking with sales team and fellow design members to deliver a quality product to prospects
To qualify for this position you will need at least 6 months of experience in
1) WordPress
2) Figma / PS / Canva (DESIGN SKILLS ARE MANDATORY)
In addition to having excellent Design skills, you’ll need to use the applications listed below. You don’t need to be an expert, but you need to be familiar with some of them
– Google Docs
– WordPress
– Notion
– Canva / Adobe Illustrator
– Envato Elements
– Telegram / Whatsapp
– Go High Level CRM
– Monday
This is a part-time position with potential to go full time very quickly for the right person, currently needing 20-30 hours with potential to go up to 40 in the first week
You’ll qualify for 3 vacation leaves and 3 sick leaves after the 6
month probation period.
