Job Title: Audio and Video Editor
Work hours: Part-time 20 hours per week
Timezone: Central Standard Time (US)
Initial work schedule: 10:00 am to 2:00 pm CST, Mondays to Fridays
Rate: $6-7 per hour DOE

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Audio and Video Editor to join our team and lead the editing and repurposing of podcast and talk show video content into engaging short-form materials. As an Audio and Video Editor, your expertise in audio and video editing, along with proficiency in building branding and social content creation, is vital in creating compelling content that resonates with our audience.

Responsibilities:
Audio and Video Editing: Edit audio and video content to enhance quality and engagement, ensuring a polished final product.
Repurposing Talk Show or Podcast Content: Transform long-form podcast or talk show videos into engaging short-form content that maintains viewer interest.
Branding Development: Create and maintain a consistent brand identity in all edited content.
Social Audio/Video Content: Produce social audio and video content that aligns with our brand and resonates with our audience.
Familiarity with Tools/Programs: Be proficient in high-level audio and video editing tools to ensure high-quality content production.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Audio and Video Editor role or a similar position.
Proven experience in audio and video editing, with the ability to create engaging, high-quality content.
Demonstrated ability to repurpose long-form content into shorter, attention-grabbing materials.
Proficiency in branding to maintain a consistent and recognizable identity.
Familiarity with high-level audio and video editing tools to achieve professional results.
Nice to Haves:
Strong interest and curiosity about advancements in AI (Artificial Intelligence) to explore AI-driven solutions for content editing.
Interest in sustainable practices and green technologies, such as waste management and recycling.
