Job Description

This is a full-time position and working schedule will be discussed during the onboarding.

RESPONSIBILITIES
– Understand and follow the daily Production Team’s priorities
– Review, understand, and follow the standard specifications for the show and host
– Raise immediate awareness if something submitted does not meet with the standard specifications or regular practices of the client or show
– Trim footage segments and put together the sequence as needed
– Input bumpers, music, dialogues, graphics and effects as needed
– Create rough and final cuts as needed
– Ensure logical sequencing, global template adjustments, processing recommendations, and smooth running so anyone on the Team can produce the best, most efficient results
– Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process when questions arise or unusual creative decisions need to be made
– Complete change requests from clients and internal team members with a sense of urgency
– Continuously discover, test, and recommend implementation of new AI editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency

QUALIFICATIONS
– Proven working experience in audio and video editing
– Experience using Descript or similar AI-assisted editing software
– Assertive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills (what will you do if…)
– Ability to juggle multiple tasks and timelines and work in fast-paced environment
– Continual learner – open to learning new techniques and processes due to new AI technology and company protocols
– Able to work under tight deadlines across many teams with quickly shifting priorities
– Takes direction well and follows standard operating procedures
– Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively under pressure
– Good interpersonal skills and works well with a team
– Excellent time-management and organizational skills
– Training & Mentorship will be lead by A/V Team Lead, Special Projects Manager, and the US Operations Manager
