Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Auditor to join our dynamic team. The Auditor will be responsible for the evaluation and examination of documents such as bank statements, royalty statements and checks, in order to validate the annual cash flow. This role presents an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about Auditing and eager to contribute their expertise to our growing organization.
Job Description:
Provide a high-quality internal audit service that minimizes the risks associated to the company’s investments.
Evaluate and analyze financial documents containing royalties related to oil and gas interests that belong to customers ensuring they’re properly organized, revised and validated, finding any possible abnormalitie in the oil and gas royalties received by a mineral owner.
Review the documents provided by customers in order to determine an accurate estimate of annualized cash flow.
Identify and determine prior period adjustments, outliers, and abnormalities that may impact the annualized cash flow of the mineral owner.
Communicate to the team leads to any abnormalities or issues found during the evaluation of financial statements.
Qualifications:
BS in Petroleum Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting or CPA level
Proficient in MS Excel and Google Workspace
Familiar with income and cash flow statements, balance sheets, among others
Strong analytical capability, creativity, and attention to detail
Able to understand written and verbal English
Capable of working in a team with other analysts and engineers
Willing and open to learn about new things
Must be willing to work on US Business hours
Must be available to work full-time for 40 hrs per week
Preferred Qualifications (non-excluding):
Knowledge about financial statements
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Remote work experience
Ability to work Independently
Strong analytical and mathematical skills with the ability to analyze and calculate yearly cash flows
