Blambles Finance Group is a boutique finance broking business based in Brisbane, Australia. We pride ourselves on helping our customers get the best deal from our residential and commercial lender partners.
We are looking for a self motivated and highly efficient person to support the continued growth of our business on a permanent full time basis. The role is 100% work from home / remote. You will work closely with our existing Filipino based virtual assistants and the business owner based in Australia.
Key requirements for the role
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office 365, with excellent Excel skills
• Excellent English communicator, both written and oral
• Self motivated to complete tasks with minimal supervision and prioritise competing tasks / deadlines
• Stable prior employment
• High attention to detail
The ideal candidate would also have,
• a Bachelors degree in accounting, business and / or finance
• Knowledge of the Connective / Mercury platform and compliance with Australian mortgage laws
• Knowledge of residential / consumer, business, equipment, real estate and loan processing in Australia
• Knowledge in financial statement and tax return analysis for self employed borrowers

Essential Duties
• Assist in gathering data from customers, internal and external sources (including credit reports, RP Data); prepare spreadsheets and analyse financial information including financial statements and tax returns, payslips and bank statements; and contact customers for additional information and clarification.
• Preparation of serviceability assessments of different lenders, product comparisons, funding needs and ensuring we act in the best interests of customers at all times
• Assist in coordinating processing of loans in accordance with specific bank requirements and customer needs; obtain sufficient information and/or documentation from customers; and solve problems relating to processing of loans.
• Develops knowledge of the Australian financial industry, economy, market conditions, rates, banking products and competition.
• Superior customer service whilst working with various stakeholders including customers, suppliers, referral partners and other staff
• Ensure compliance with all internal and external policies, procedures and processes, and all applicable state and federal banking laws, rules and regulations, and adheres to the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009, Privacy Act 1988 and Australian Privacy Principals.
• Any other ad hoc tasks and projects required from time to time
• Completes all tasks correctly and on time.
