AutoCAD Specialist, Google Earth Researcher & VA

We are looking for a candidate who knows how to problem solve and determine solutions on their own. A person who is not afraid to ask for help, and who’s not afraid to be truthful about their strengths and weaknesses. We are aiming for a team player, someone who is willing to step in and help with a task even if it’s not in the core job description, with a willingness to learn new skills. The candidate needs to have a solid work ethic, and at times when Leaders Real Estate does not have enough specific tasks for the candidate to fill their 40 hour work week, we want our candidates to be proactive, and find ways to help with the company’s overall goal of finding locations to develop and finding tenants for sites. We are a flexible employer, with a desire to receive feedback from the employee (if you find a better way to do something or a way to streamline our process we’re happy to receive input!). We believe this position will provide valuable experience for anyone looking to further their career in commercial real estate and development or related field.
Job Description:
-Develop detailed site plans for shopping center projects, including layout designs, floor plans, and architectural drawings.
-Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and translate them into accurate AutoCAD drawings.
-Ensure site plans comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards. RESEARCH WILL BE REQUIRED (going to local town/county government websites to ensure plans meet code)
-Incorporate client feedback and make necessary revisions to site plans.
-Maintain organized and up-to-date project files and documentation.
-Google Earth research of retail businesses and locations
-Complete PowerPoint presentations for clients
-Research and find development opportunities and parcel ownership information
-Contacting property owners or representatives via email or phone may be required in some cases
Skills:
-Proven proficiency in AutoCAD software, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in creating site plans and architectural drawings.
-Extensive knowledge of drafting principles, techniques, and best practices.
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy in producing technical drawings.
-Familiarity with shopping center design principles and layout planning.
-Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with remote teams.
-Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
-Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
-Willingness to complete tasks outside of Job description when needed
-Proactive and self learning, researching the commercial real estate and development industry

-AutoCAD (required)

Time of work day:
Although Leaders Real Estate’s workday is typically 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Time (8:00 PM – 5:00 AM Philippines Time), it is not expected that all hours are worked to accommodate the LRE time zone. Candidate may need to be available from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM (Philippines Time) to connect with Leaders Real Estate representatives.
This will start as a temporary full-time position but can become permanent if the candidate can prove themselves in a satisfactory capacity. If employment becomes permanent, other compensation such as 13th month pay, raises, bonuses, and requested time off will be considered.
