Automation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automation and Integration Specialist to join our dynamic team. As an Automation and Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing automation solutions, integrating various systems, and optimizing business processes.

Responsibilities:
– Design, develop, and deploy automation solutions to streamline business processes.
– Integrate multiple systems and applications using APIs (Application Programming Interfaces).
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and gather requirements.
– Develop and maintain API integrations using tools such as Zapier, Make (former Integromat), and other relevant platforms.
– Create and maintain technical documentation, including API specifications and integration guides.
– Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues and system errors.
– Optimize workflows and processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
– Stay up-to-date with the latest automation technologies and tools.

Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
– Proven experience in automation and integration projects.
– Strong knowledge of API development and integration techniques.
– Proficiency in using Zapier and Make (former Integromat) for automation and integration tasks.
– Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, etc.) for automation purposes.
– Experience with database systems and SQL.
– Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
– Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
– Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
– Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

Preferred Skills:
– Experience with other automation and integration platforms (IFTTT, Microsoft Flow, etc.).
– Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.) and serverless architectures.
– Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST, etc.).
– Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN, etc.).
– Previous experience in software development or related roles.
– Previous experience with Linux systems (server management).
– Knowledge in Networking (DNS, firewall configurations).
– Previous experience with Nginx or Apache.
– Previous experience with project management systems (Asana, Monday, Jira).
