Job Summary:

The Automation Expert is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions to optimize business processes and enhance operational efficiency. This role requires a deep understanding of automation technologies, programming skills, and working closely with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and deliver innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement Automation Solutions:

Design and deploy automation frameworks and tools to streamline business operations.
Create and maintain scripts and programs for process automation.
Integrate automation solutions with existing systems and platforms.

Analyze Business Processes:

Conduct a thorough analysis of business processes to identify areas for automation.
Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and objectives.
Propose and implement solutions to improve process efficiency and accuracy.

Technical Expertise:

Utilize various automation tools and technologies such as RPA (Robotic Process Automation), AI, machine learning, and other software automation platforms.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in automation technologies and best practices.

Project Management:

Manage multiple automation projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other team members to achieve project goals.

Documentation and Reporting:

Document automation processes, solutions, and best practices.
Provide regular reports on project status, performance metrics, and outcomes.

Training and Support:

Train staff on new automation tools and procedures.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for implemented solutions.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Automation Professional, RPA certifications) are a plus.
Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automation development or a related field.
Proven experience with automation tools and platforms such as UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, etc.
Technical Skills:

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or similar.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
Experience with AI, machine learning, and data analysis tools is advantageous.
Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and project management abilities.
Working Conditions:
This position typically works in an office environment but may require occasional travel to various company sites.
The role may involve working outside regular business hours to meet project deadlines.
Reporting Structure:
Reports to: Automation Manager/Director of IT/Chief Technology Officer (depending on the organizational structure).
Salary Range:
