AWS Course Maintainer & DevOps Coach

As an official Red Hat and AWS training partner, we are growing exponentially and seeking a motivated and skilled AWS Course Maintainer & DevOps Coach.

In this role, you will play a vital role in maintaining our course content, keeping it up to date with the latest AWS technologies, and providing coaching and guidance to students in the field of DevOps.

Responsibilities:

Periodically review existing demo videos to ensure they reflect current AWS UI updates.
Update and create new lab projects as needed to reflect changes in the AWS environment.
Stay informed about new features and services in AWS and other related technologies such as Terraform, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
Collaborate with teachers, teacher assistants (TA’s), and course developers to develop innovative methods of teaching new AWS concepts and technologies.
Contribute to the creation of new modules and workshops that align with the curriculum and industry standards.
Act as a mentor and coach to students, providing guidance on DevOps best practices, tools, and methodologies.
Host weekly office hours at designated times to and assist students in troubleshooting technical challenges they encounter during their learning journey.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to students on their projects and assignments.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in DevOps technologies.
Continuously enhance your own knowledge and skills through self-learning and obtaining relevant certifications.
Maintain clear and effective communication in English, ensuring all students receive prompt responses to their queries and concerns.
Ensure the course content meets high-quality standards and is relevant and engaging for students.

Qualifications:
Working with AWS cloud services: 2 years (Required)
AWS SysOps Certification (Preferred)
Minimum 2-5 years of experience with AWS, Linux, and DevOps practices.
Clear and effective communication skills in English.
Ability to write documentation and create instructional materials.
Passionate about helping others learn and succeed in the field of DevOps.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with tools such as Terraform, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
Ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment.
Continuous learning mindset and willingness to obtain relevant tech certifications periodically.

Additional Job Details:
Full-time and long-term position.
Work hours between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST to align with the US East Coast time zone.
Remote work with a 100% remote workforce.
