Students Explore Australia Pty Ltd is on a mission to connect young people with nature, to improve the wellbeing of the next generations. We predominantly achieve this through delivering school camps to Primary and High Schools across Australia, as well as Study Tours to international student groups across (mainly) Asia. We have been in operation for 8 years and have a reputation for being a leader in engaging international students with outdoor programs, and more recently engaging Australian local students in outdoor programs.

Students Explore Australia falls between the tourism and education industries, and operates alongside our sister brand – Aussie Journeys.

Role Description:

This is a customer service and business development position with the following primary responsibilities:
> Answer inbound enquiries from schools and education agents in Asia
> Educate our possible partners about our Study Tour services in Australia
> Maintain strong relationships with 15 – 20 partners
> Hold video meetings and presentations with potential partners
> Create and send proposal documents
> Create standardised documents to help your sales and relationship management process
> Work with a CRM software to track and take notes of your sales
> Report weekly on number of number of programs explained to potential groups, number of proposals sent to groups, number of groups that you have scheduled in

Skills Required:

> Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
> Experience in customer service relations or B2B roles with high ability to build rapport quickly and establish solid relationships with partners
> Strong leadership and project management skills
> Proven ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies
> Advocate for our core values

Other Requirements:

> Stable internet connection with a minimum standard of 20 mbps download / 5 mbps upload
> Life-long learner with a thirst for knowledge
> Quiet working environment and a noise-canceling headset
> Ability to understand complex business processes and requirements
> Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
> Knowledge about travel or education preferred but not necessary

The role is a permanent full time position. However, for the right candidate we are very flexible to accommodate 8 FTE hours, or work with you around specific work requirements you may have. Our office is located in Everard Park, South Australia 5035, and we work in the Adelaide time zone, which is 6:30am – 3:30pm in the Philippines.
