Exciting opportunity to join HitLights as our B2B Sales Specialist to lead our efforts in expanding the future of our B2B customer base. This sales role will be accountable for developing new clients in the electrical contractor-residential construction industry, mill working and professional installation/fabrication for example, exhibitors houses builders. This role will require new client development, interpersonal skills, a strong professional presence and the ability to enjoy solving clients’ LED strip lighting solutions needs and pain points to attract new customers and grow our business.

As a B2B Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving business-to-business sales and fostering long-term relationships with clients. This role requires a strategic approach to identify new business opportunities, engage with potential customers, and provide tailored solutions to meet their specific needs. Your focus will be on understanding clients’ challenges, promoting our products or services, and achieving sales targets to contribute to the company’s growth and success.

Key Responsibilities – What duties are you responsible for?
– Prospect and generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, networking, and industry events.
– Conduct in-depth research to understand prospective clients’ businesses, challenges, and needs.
– Initiate sales conversations with potential clients, demonstrate the value proposition of our products, and address their inquiries effectively.
– Present and pitch our offerings in a compelling and persuasive manner, tailored to each client’s unique requirements.
– Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to craft customized solutions and proposals for clients.
– Negotiate contracts and pricing terms with potential clients to secure new business opportunities.
– Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to drive repeat business and foster customer loyalty.
– Actively monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new sales opportunities.
– Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue objectives within the assigned territory or market segment.
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records and reports.
– Collaborate with marketing and product teams to provide feedback and insights on client needs and market demands.

Qualifications – What makes up the ideal candidate?
– Proven track record of success in B2B sales, with a strong sales acumen and a customer-centric approach.
– Preferably has experience selling LED Strip Lighting but we will consider candidates with a strong track record of success for sales.
– Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
– Strong negotiation and persuasive abilities to close deals and overcome objections.
– Ability to understand complex client requirements and tailor solutions accordingly.
– Proactive and self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
– Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize and manage multiple leads and opportunities.
– Ability to work independently while also being a team player and collaborating effectively with colleagues.
– Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools to manage leads and track sales activities.
– Adaptability to handle a dynamic sales environment and changing customer demands.
– Knowledge of the B2B market landscape and industry-specific trends.
