Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced B2B Trade Salesperson with a background in interior designing to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with trade professionals such as interior designers and builders. Your main objective will be to promote our products and services and ultimately win sales tenders.
The ideal candidate will have a solid sales background, excellent interpersonal skills, and a good understanding of interior design concepts.
Responsibilities:
Actively seek out new business opportunities and generate sales leads within the B2B trade market.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with trade professionals including architects, interior designers, contractors, and builders.
Provide consultative selling by understanding the specific needs of each trade professional and offering customised solutions.
Collaborate with the internal design team to provide expert advice and guidance to trade professionals on interior design concepts and product selection.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and quotes to prospective clients in a timely manner.
Keep accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales pipeline using CRM software.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer service, and logistics, to ensure seamless execution of sales orders and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within the interior design industry.
A diploma in Interior Design or completed courses in Interior Design are essential.
The applicant will need to be able to read floor and furniture plans, understand how to read & put together an FF&E/furniture schedule.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Strong understanding of interior design concepts, materials, and trends.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with trade professionals.
Excellent presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions effectively.
Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to think creatively and provide innovative solutions to trade professionals’ design challenges.
Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage and track sales activities.
