We are currently looking for an experienced Back End Developer specializing in Python and Django to join our team.
Position: Back End Developer (Python/Django)
Responsibilities:
– Develop and maintain web applications using Python, Django, and other relevant technologies.
– Collaborate with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
– Implement back-end components of an application to meet customer requirements and provide scalable solutions.
– Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
– Adhere to **SmartWiz Code Development Best Practices**, including the use of camelCase for variables, formatting Python code with Black, and adhering to the Airbnb React/JSX Style Guide for any front-end integration.
– Utilize serializer for data validation and ensure API responses follow the specified standard format, including ‘status’, ‘message’, and ‘content’ fields.
– Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and incorporate constructive feedback.
– Document all code changes and developments in accordance with the TSDoc Standard.
– Maintain and improve code quality through removal of unused or commented-out code and adhering to the universal variable naming standard.
– Work on multiple projects with varying deadlines, demonstrating the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
### Qualifications
– Proven experience as a Back End Developer, with a portfolio of projects developed in Python and Django.
– Strong understanding of the Django framework and Python programming language.
– Familiarity with front-end technologies () and principles of integrating with back-end services.
– Knowledge of code versioning tools, such as Git.
– Experience with database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM (Object-Relational Mapping).
– Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically.
– Strong understanding of web services and API development.
– Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
– Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely.
