About Us:
DirectedSales provides proven sales training and incentive programs for home service companies. We are currently seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to join our team and play a crucial role in our expansion efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Research: Conduct in-depth research to identify and target companies that are a good fit for our services. Garage door repair, plumbers, electricians, roofers and other companies within the home service industry who have been in business for more than 3 years, and have more than 5 residential service technicians. (approximately 8 hours a week.)

Social Media Management: Create engaging and informative posts on Facebook and LinkedIn to increase our brand’s visibility, engage with our audience, and generate leads. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining a consistent posting schedule and analyzing post performance to improve engagement rates. (approximately 8 hours a week)

Outbound Calls: Dedicate approximately 18 hours each week to making outbound calls to potential clients. This involves reaching out to leads generated from research and social media efforts and initiating conversations. The goal of the outbound calls is to either: capture an email address so we can send them additional information, or to schedule them for a time to talk to one of our sales trainers.

Learning New Skills: 6 hours a week learning new skills related to business development, or learning how to better use the software and tools we use at DirectedSales.

Requirements:
Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
Excellent research skills, with a knack for identifying opportunities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create compelling social media content.
Experience with social media platforms, particularly Facebook and LinkedIn.
A self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
