Our client based in Sydney is a Fast-Growing Fund Manager. In view of the high business growth rate, our client is looking for a long term VA to help with managing the administration tasks mostly data entry, admin, research, email correspondence and managing meeting appointment. This is a very dynamic role and will be suited for someone that’s enthusiastic about learning, developing themselves and earning above and beyond just a normal wage for those that prefer to be rewarded based on their results.

Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
– Perform data entry using excel
– Schedule meeting with clients and managing superior’s’ calendar
– Draft email and managing the emailing system
– Prepare meeting notes and write minutes of meetings
– Assist other staff to perform admin work as and when required
– Manage the document and filing System
– Prepare routine report and summary as required
– Making purchases and booking online
– Potentially some bookkeeping and preparing invoice
– Implement improvement initiatives to refine the work process
– Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior

To be successful in this role, ideally, you should have:

– 1 to 2 years of VA working experience – Experience working in a corporate environment will be an advantage
– Experience Excel user and able to use pivot tables, v-lookups and maybe even develop basic macros to automate functions in Excel
– Experience in Mailing Manager e.g. MailChimp and social media application
– Access to reliable and high-speed internet
– Available during Sydney working hours full time (9am – 5pm at least). Occasionally, there could be some urgent ad-hoc tasks that may need to be completed and require longer hours. If you are a clock-watcher – PLEASE DO NOT APPLY

– Honesty – if you are dishonest even a little bit in this role, you will not last
– Fluency in the English language – written and verbal, comfortable making calls to strangers, drafting emails on behalf of executives, and easily understood
– Great writing skills – required to update marketing materials and communicate to investors via email
– High attention to detail – lots of numbers involved, so any mistakes can cost millions of dollars
– Can do attitude and result driven
– Keen to learn and develop yourself
– Highly organized and disciplined adhering to deadlines and deliverables
– Able to work autonomously without supervision
– Being proactive, versatile, think outside the box – you are a natural at improving processes and systems and suggesting better ways of doing things
