Job Description

Project Overview:
We are seeking a freelance Data Analyst with a focus on automation & APIs for a short-term project aimed at enhancing the efficiency of a short-term rental management business. The specialist will be responsible for setting up an automated system for expense submissions, booking management, and generating insightful reports on performance metrics such as cleaning schedules, costs, revenues, and outlays. This project involves utilizing Google Forms, managing databases, and creating dashboards in Looker Studio or similar tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement an automated system for capturing expense submissions using Google Forms.
• Develop and configure a database system for tracking operational data including bookings, cleaning schedules, financials, and other relevant metrics.
• Create dashboards in Looker Studio (or a comparable BI tool) to visualize key performance indicators and support decision-making processes.
• Automate the generation of periodic reports to highlight business insights and trends.
• Work closely with the business owner to understand specific data needs and reporting requirements.
• Ensure the reliability, accuracy, and security of all data and reports.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in data analysis, database management, and reporting.
• Strong skills in SQL and familiarity with database technologies.
• Experience in setting up and customizing dashboards in business intelligence tools such as Looker Studio.
• Ability to automate data processes and reporting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
