WAI – a leading international automotive parts distributor, is looking for English and Spanish speaking Customer Service Representative, who will be responsible for responding to telephone and written inquiries from customers and supporting sales activities.
Essential functions:
• Receives incoming calls, order entry, and provides information on product availability, pricing, delivery and any additional information needed by the customer
• Cross train and assist in other functional areas such as purchasing, purchase orders, expediting, rescheduling, order confirmation, and Proforma processing
• Interfaces with other internal departments to help resolve pricing, credit, inventory, shipping, quality and technical issues
• Checks inventory levels for selected accounts to analyze potential unexpected inventory depletion and notifies sales team
• Supports Business Development Group by carrying out delegated tasks in accordance with established procedures, including customer follow-up
• Demonstrates a thorough understanding of company products and services
• Advise customers on applicability and interchangeable products by referring to catalogs and computerized information systems
• Qualifies new prospective accounts and communicates this information to the Customer Service Supervisor or Manager
• Demonstrates a basic understanding of the major accounts assigned within the team, and provides insights and feedback to the Customer Service Supervisor or Manager
• Generate outgoing calls specifically for the purpose of increasing sales to existing customers by building relationships and following up on existing business opportunities
• Performs general clerical duties, such as data input, filing and retrieving of records, photocopying, etc
• Organizes current documents to ensure that they are easily accessible to Account Managers and the team
• Maintain current company knowledge of the product line, parts, features and benefits
• Resolves customer inquiries and concerns for a positive resolution
• Processes E-store and EDI (Electronic Data Interface) orders
• Support chat function for website
• Other duties as assigned based on business needs or management’s request
Qualifications:
• English and Spanish language proficiency (written and spoken)
• 2 years’ experience in a call center or ecommerce customer service environment
• International customer service experience is a plus, especially with South and Central America, Caribbean, Mexico customers
• Microsoft office suite (outlook, word, excel), Infor LN (BAAN) ERP experience a plus
• Proficient with 10-key pad
• Ability to work a graveyard shift.
