The Opportunity
Therapy Tree is in need of REMOTE Full Time and experienced Billing Specialists to join our team! join a team of highly qualified and passionate individuals that seek to make a meaningful and lasting impact in the lives of children.
Requirements
1 year of experience as a Medical Billing Specialist
Be able to work full-time night shifts and weekends
Bilingual (preferred but not required)
Medical Coding Certification (required)
A thorough understanding of medical insurances
Understanding of insurance billing and coding
Electronic Medical Record experience
Advanced MD billing program experience (preferred not required)
Must be in the Philippines
Must provide NBI Clearance
Diploma as proof that you are a graduate of any allied health profession
Certificate of Training
Duties
Posts payments and bills out medical claims.
Investigates and communicates with insurance carriers regarding inquiries from patients and patient representatives.
Reviews and resolves insurance appeals and denials.
Drafts letters and notices to patients, vendors, and payors as necessary.
Reviews patient treatment information to ensure proper coding and billing.
Reviews and resolves delinquent patient accounts.
Answers patient and insurance representative communication inquiries.
Reads and interprets explanations of benefits and communicates them effectively to patients.
May assist in the obtaining of referrals for visits to specialists.

Monthly Salary: P40,000 to P50,000
