Position Summary:
As an On-Call Content Writer, you will play a crucial role in crafting engaging and search engine-optimized content for our blog and press releases. You will collaborate closely with our SEO Specialist to ensure that all content aligns with our SEO strategy and contributes to our digital marketing success. This role offers the flexibility to work on assignments as needed, making it a perfect fit for writers looking for part-time or project-based work.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Creation:
– Produce well-researched, high-quality blog posts and press releases that are both informative and engaging.
– Craft content that is optimized for search engines, utilizing relevant keywords and best SEO practices.
– Adapt writing style and tone to match the target audience and specific requirements of each piece.
2. SEO Alignment:
– Collaborate closely with the SEO Specialist to ensure content aligns with the overall SEO strategy and goals.
– Implement SEO recommendations, such as keyword integration, meta tags, and content structure, to maximize organic search visibility.
3. Research and Analysis:
– Conduct in-depth research to stay updated on industry trends, news, and topics.
– Analyze and interpret data and insights to enhance content performance.
4. Editing and Proofreading:
– Review and edit your own work to ensure it meets our quality standards.
– Collaborate with the SEO Specialist to refine content for optimal SEO performance.
5. Flexible Availability:
– Be available on an on-call basis to complete content assignments as they arise, with deadlines to be agreed upon for each project.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a content writer with a strong portfolio of SEO-optimized blog posts and press releases.
– Familiarity with SEO best practices and a willingness to collaborate with the SEO Specialist.
– Excellent research, writing, and editing skills.
– Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing error-free content.
– Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
– Flexibility and availability to take on assignments as needed.
– Knowledge of industry-specific terminology and trends (Bedding and Lifestyle).
