Job Overview
As a Blog and SEO Content Specialist, your role will involve crafting articles and other written content for e-commerce, advertisements, and product promotion to enhance product visibility and website traffic. Your primary task will be to generate blog articles based on SEO strategy and new product launch plans to boost search results and web traffic.
Key Duties
Compose blog articles weekly for our various brands, focusing on automotive lighting FAQs, product features, vehicle specifics, and SEO-related queries.
Enhance blog performance by applying best practices, conducting tests, analyzing results, and implementing strategic improvements.
Support new product launches and strategic product demand/awareness with targeted articles.
Contribute to other strategic company initiatives through article writing.
Share blog articles with marketing agency partners and internally for awareness and ongoing training.
Skills and Experience
At least 3 year of experience in marketing and/or journalism.
Excellent writing skills with a solid understanding of journalism fundamentals, including best practices for consumer marketing article writing.
Basic experience with photo editing (cropping, resizing, etc.)
Understanding of SEO and SEO strategy.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Understanding of the e-commerce shopper’s journey (interest, learning, comparison, conversion) and how different marketing content pieces fit into this process.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think innovatively.
Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills to work with the entire department for idea exchange and campaign success.
Ability to self-manage, self-start, and stay organized with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to analyze performance and report on progress.
Ability to multitask while maintaining focus on priorities.
1+ years of experience in the automotive aftermarket industry or personal experience as an automotive enthusiast is highly preferred.
