Job Description:
As a Blog & Copy Writer, you will play a crucial role in creating engaging and informative content that resonates with our target audience. You will primarily focus on producing 4-5 high-quality blog posts per month, with the opportunity to increase your workload as you grow into the role. Our ideal candidate should be fluent and proficient in writing English, with a strong understanding of common English vernacular. Knowledge or experience in the wellness supplements and CBD industries would be a valuable asset.

Key Responsibilities:

– Write 4-5 well-researched, engaging, and informational blog posts per month, ranging from 1500 to 2500 words each. Using ChatGPT to supplement writing is okay, but we do not want the entire blogs to be ChatGPT generated. All blog topics will be provided to you monthly with key talking points to cover in each. Must include cited sources within the conclusion of each blog.

– Meet & collaborate with the Creative Marketing Manager once to twice per month to go over needed blog content for the upcoming month and review written blogs if needed.

– Proofread and edit your own work to ensure accuracy of claims, clarity, grammar and adherence to our style guidelines. Tone and style should be professional and informational, yet easy to understand and conversational.

– Optimize blog posts for SEO to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic to our website. Not the main objective of this role, but would be beneficial to keep in mind.

Qualifications:

– Proficient in written English with excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Knowledge of English vernacular.
– Strong research skills and the ability to synthesize information from various sources.
– Familiarity with SEO principles and keyword optimization is a plus.
– Experience in creating content for the wellness supplements or CBD industry is a plus.
– Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
– Self-motivated and able to work independently.
– Strong communication and collaboration skills.
– A passion for writing and a creative mindset.
