Our company is called Collective Influence. We are located in Jacksonville, Florida, USA! We are looking for an experienced SEO article writer to write and publish multiple articles each week on our wordpress blog.

We are looking for a person who may become a more permanent member of the team if the quality and speed are what we need.

We have a LARGE amount of monthly work that will regularly need to be done so we’re looking for the right person to handle this.

Job brief:
We are looking for a Content Writer to join our team and create new blog posts that will rank highly or even #1 on google and other search engines.

You will be provided with SEO keywords/topics to write your articles on but you are also encouraged to conduct your own keyword research on industry-related topics, generating ideas for new content types and proofreading articles before publication. If you’re familiar with producing online content and have an eye for detail, we’d like to meet you. Feel free to share samples of your work or portfolio of your published articles, along with your application.

Ultimately, you’ll deliver writing pieces that are optimized for search engines and provide more value than existing articles on each topic. The content you write must appeal to our audiences, attract new visitors to join our email newsletter list, and boost credibility for our brand.

Responsibilities:
– Research keyword topics you are given and find new industry-related topics (that you believe are opportunities for us to rank highly and get organic traffic from)
– Write clear, engaging, and value driven content.
– Use tools like ChatGPT for example on outlines and idea generation but NOT rely on AI for the entire post (because we want each post to sound like a real human wrote it).
– Proofread and edit blog posts before publication.
– Add high-quality graphics to break up each section of the article or coordinate with our graphic design team to create images based on your instruction.
– Publish the final version of each article on our blog page using wordpress.
– Conduct new keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
– Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
– Ensure all-around brand consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
– Update website blog content as needed

Requirements:
– Proven work experience as an SEO Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role
– Portfolio of published articles
– Experience doing research using multiple sources
– Familiarity with publishing articles on wordpress
– Excellent writing and editing skills in American English
– Experience with WordPress is preferred
– Ability to meet deadlines
– Creativity and adaptability.
– Strong understanding of how to research target audience and industry trends.
– Proficiency with SEO keywords and SEO writing.
