We are seeking someone who is an expert in SEO and blog writing who can help us build our SEO for our two companies. This person will work closely with the head of marketing. The ideal candidate is someone who has a passion for writing and SEO building and can help us grow our company and grow with us.
What the job entails:
Write and create blog posts for our two companies based off ideas we provide
Submit blog posts to different websites for guest posting
Create valuable content that can attract links and promote it on trustworthy sites*
*This involves submitting the blog posts as guest blog posts to other websites so you need to be able to write blog posts that suit other blogs as well; for example “5 tools you NEED for camping this winter” that promotes our product, and then submit it to camping sites.
Write engaging copywriting that hooks customers in
Use the appropriate tools to ensure you are building SEO
Know how to navigate Hubspot and other SEO tools
Communication to be done on Slack and through email
You will be writing blog posts for our website based off prompts, the website, videos, etc. and then you will be posting it on our Shopify website and submitting it to trustworthy sites as guest posts.
You will pursue avenues to build our SEO using link building.
Once SEO has improved for our websites, we will be running Google Ads. You will be the advisor for this; we will create and run the ads and you will let us know how to improve our SEO and be available for help.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, a related field, OR proof of completion of an SEO course
At least 2/3 years of experience in marketing, a related field, or writing
An excellent knowledge of the English language
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience in writing and SEO
Ability to work with marketing tools and other native apps that might be needed
Familiarity with Google Analytics and email finding tools is a bonus
Knowledge of Google Ads and how to make and run a google ad campaign using the provided assets and ads
