Blog Writer & Researcher

Hi there,

There are two roles to this job:

Blog Writer Role:

I am looking for a writer who is interested in and would like to write reviews about various business software tools such as ClickFunnels, GoHighLevel and more for a blog.

You will receive access to a paid subscription for each of these tools so that you can go in, test it, take screenshots that can be used for the article and ultimately learn more about it.

Prior to writing articles, you’ll be shown how to do keyword research so that you can find article topics to write about related to each software.

As an example for ClickFunnels, these might be some articles you write:

ClickFunnels 2.0 Review
What is ClickFunnels?
Is ClickFunnels Worth It?

You should also have some knowledge of SEO or be willing to learn SEO because the purpose of these articles is to rank them on the first page of Google and get traffic.

The articles you write must also be more valuable, useful and extensive then what’s already on the first page of Google for the keywords you’re targeting. This is the best way to ensure we can beat the competition and out-rank them.

Must have excellent English writing skills.

Lastly, you’ll also be in charge of reaching out to other blogs to acquire backlinks, which we will train on.

Researcher Role:

I am looking for a researcher who can browse the internet daily and find me the most interesting digital marketing and business news and stories that I can share on my social media.

You will also be provided with an extensive list of websites and subreddits you can check daily so that you don’t have to research everything from scratch.

You’ll then report your findings each day in a list after sorting through everything and choosing which news or stories are interesting enough to share with my audience.

We will refine over time what kind of marketing and business news or stories is best as we continue to work together on this.

Once you have a list, you’ll then use ChatGPT to craft a social media post for Twitter and LinkedIn that follows a few basic copywriting rules to capture the reader’s attention and keep them reading the entire post without scrolling away.

You will also use Canva to design images such as carousel posts for LinkedIn.

The initial goal is to have at least 2 posts per day, 7 days a week. As we streamline the process, we can increase that to 3 posts per day and so on.

This is a long-term position and very flexible. We are located in Toronto, but you can work during your own hours as long as you get the job complete.

For now, we can start part-time and if you do well, we can switch to full-time. The starting pay for this role is $6/hour CAD and will be increased over time.
