Role Overview:

We are an established Australian health business with a Filipino office that is based in Dmall Boracay. We are looking for a senior book keeper to join us in our office there working Australian day hours 9-5.

As our Senior Book keeper , you will manage timely and accurate financial transactions recording and assist with preparation of financial results and reporting for the Group.

We are an Australian privately-owned fast-growing e-commerce business which distributes wellness products within Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

Based in our new Head office in Burleigh Heads QLD, our main brand, Kiva Wellness, is one of Australia’s best-known labels for saunas, ice baths, sleep tech and other wellness related products, working with household names both in the Fitness and Gym space and trusted by Australian athletes along with some of top sporting stars.

Other iconic products are US brands such as Omega juicers and Excalibur dehydrators.

Reporting Structure:

You will report directly to the Finance Manager and work closely with stakeholders on the Executive level.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately manage and maintain financial records in Xero, including all aspects of bookkeeping for the Group.
Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulatory standards.

Perform bank reconciliations including handling multi-currency transactions.

Manage accounts payables/receivables and intercompany transactions.

Manage payroll processing through Xero.

Reconcile records in Xero with Fishbowl inventory management software.

Support month-end close process.

Assist with timely preparation of accurate financial statements and reports for management review..

Prepare and maintain various financial reconciliations and other processes to maintain accurate financial records.

Deliver balance sheet reconciliation.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve financial procedures and integrations with Xero.
Ad hoc bookkeeping duties.

Preferred skills and experience:

5 years + experience in bookkeeping roles, ideally working with Xero within e-commerce or manufacturing sector. Xero certification preferred.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting including Group accounting. Part-qualified accountant certification highly regarded.

Exposure to a larger volume of more complex financial data, including consolidated financial statements.

Strong MS Excel and Google Sheets skills.

Adaptability to new technology and exposure to API data flows.

Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment as well as collaborate with stakeholders on process improvements.

Excellent attention to details, time management and accuracy skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
