We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper Virtual Assistant to join our team and support our financial operations.

Job Summary:
The Part-Time Bookkeeper Virtual Assistant will play a vital role in managing our financial records, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with industry standards. This role requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to work independently, and have a passion for numbers and real estate.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Record Keeping:
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including transactions, receipts, and invoices.
*Reconcile bank statements and ensure consistency with internal records.
*Prepare and record financial documents in accounting software.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:
*Manage accounts payable, including invoice processing and payment scheduling.
*Handle accounts receivable, including generating invoices and tracking payments.
*Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts.

Financial Reporting:
*Generate regular financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
*Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
*Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.

Tax Preparation and Compliance:
*Assist in preparing documents for tax filing with our CPA.

Communication and Coordination:
*Communicate with vendors, clients, and team members regarding financial matters.
*Collaborate with the acquisitions team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
*Provide financial support and insights to various departments.

Qualifications:
*Proven experience as a bookkeeper, accountant, or similar role.
*Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
*Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite. WE ARE CURRENTLY USING XERO.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Strong organizational and time management abilities.
*High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:
*Previous experience in the real estate industry.
*Familiarity with real estate accounting and financial practices.
*Knowledge of tax preparation and compliance.
