Job Description

Yoko Property is a Airbnb company based in the UK. We have over 140 apartments, houses and apart-hotels that we let out on a short term basis.

We are seeking an experienced Book Keeper who will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and managing all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable for our company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and book keeping, as well as experience with paying bills and managing financial transactions.

Job Responsibilities:

? Month end reporting (including properties that belong to Yoko Property)
? Month end VAT analysis and reporting
? Raising invoices (ensuring VAT calculation is correct) and chasing payments
? Issuing credit notes where required (e.g. for partial refunds, refund for deposits etc)
? Checking and reconciling payments from OTA platforms (e.g. from , Airbnb, Agoda)
? Checking payments have been received for agency bookings and updating Xero /Free Agent accounting software
? Allocating property expenses accurately
? Uploading invoices received from suppliers to Manual Payables spreadsheet
? Ensuring accurate data is recorded on booking system
? Main point of contact for suppliers with payment or invoice queries, deliver excellent customer service
? Documenting accounting processes for internal use
? Providing management with suggestion on process improvements
? General book keeping

Finance VA – Experience and Qualifications
– (Mandatory) Minimum 3 years+ work experience in a Book Keeping role
– (Mandatory) Proficient in Microsoft Excel
– (Mandatory) Proficient in English (writing and speaking)
– (Mandatory) Strong attention to detail and accuracy
– (Mandatory) Ability to present analysis and findings clearly and concisely
– (Mandatory) Ability to communicate effectively and be able to work in a team and independently
– (Preferable but not mandatory) Knowledge of Xero and Free Agent software
– (Preferable but not mandatory) Previous work experience in the Airbnb/ Short Term Let Industry

Working hours: Monday to Friday – 9am to 5:30pm (GMT Time)
