Our flagship product, the HOTTAP, is the world’s most compact, simple-to-use, portable water heater and has attracted tens of thousands of enthusiastic customers. In the past seven years, we have gone from concept to selling in Australia, New Zealand, USA, UK, and Canada.
– WHAT THIS ROLE IS ABOUT –
To be considered for this role, you must be willing to commit long term i.e. we envisage this role to be an ongoing full time employment opportunity. It will be ideal for an experienced Accountant or Bookkeeper looking for a proper long term role with potential career development opportunities.
1. Accounts Payables / Receivables (AP/AR)
2. Updating the cashflow forecast sheet with the latest invoices
3. Bank account reconciliations
4. Potentially assist with month-end and quarter-end closings
5. Liaising with all parts of the business to ensure AP/AR is processed correctly
6. General office administration and other ad hoc tasks as required
7. Process improvement of existing finance function
Note: This role reports to an in-house Accountant and is a long term full time opportunity. You will be expected to communicate with the team daily via the use of remote video technologies such as Google Meets and Slack.
You will also be required to work fixed hours from 9am – 5pm (Australia Melbourne time), Mondays to Fridays, but there is flexibility to adjust some hours as long as ample prior notice is given.
– SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED –
CPA, ACCA, or a relevant accounting qualification
Minimum of 3-4 years in a similar role is a prerequisite
Knowledge of Zendesk, G-Suite, Odoo, Netsuite or XERO is a big plus
Previous experience in a commercial organisation is a big plus
