Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately categorizing transactions, managing payroll for employees and affiliates, and ensuring seamless connectivity within our financial systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Transaction Categorization:
– Classify and record financial transactions with precision and attention to detail.
– Maintain an organized and efficient system for tracking income and expenses.
– Reconcile discrepancies and rectify errors promptly.
– Onboard new employees into our accounting system.
2. Payroll Management:
– Process payroll for employees and affiliates in accordance with company policies and relevant regulations.
– Ensure accurate and timely disbursement of salaries, commissions, and bonuses.
– Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
– Sending out and fulfilling invoices.
3. Connectivity Oversight:
– Establish and maintain connectivity between various financial systems and platforms.
– Collaborate with relevant teams to integrate financial data and streamline processes.
– Must be available during US work hours.
4. Financial Reporting:
– Generate and analyze financial reports to provide insights into the company’s financial health.
– Collaborate with management to ensure accurate financial information for decision-making.
– Assist in preparing financial statements and reports as needed.
5. Tax Compliance (1099s and W9s):
– Prepare and distribute 1099s for contractors and vendors in compliance with IRS regulations.
– Collect and manage W9 forms from contractors and vendors.
– Stay updated on tax laws related to 1099 reporting and ensure accurate filing.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
– Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
– Proficiency in using QuickBooks.
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
– Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
– Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
– Knowledge of payroll processing and familiarity with relevant laws and regulations.
