Black Women Talk Tech (BWTT) is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Overseas Bookkeeper to join our team. As an Overseas Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial records and transactions of our company remotely, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial information.

Responsibilities:
1. Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and complete financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
2. Transaction Management: Process and record invoices, payments, and expenses in a timely manner.
3. Bank Reconciliation: Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate alignment between financial records and bank statements. End of month close out.
4. Financial Reporting: Generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
5. Tax Compliance: Assist with tax-related activities, such as gathering required documents and providing necessary financial information to accountants or tax agencies.
6. Budget Monitoring: Assist in monitoring and tracking expenses against budgetary guidelines to ensure financial targets are met.
7. Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to support informed decision-making.
8. Communication: Collaborate with the finance team and other relevant stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely exchange of financial information.
9. Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles, laws, and regulations.

Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accountant, or similar role.
2. Proficiency in bookkeeping software and tools, such as QuickBooks .
3. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
4. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
5. Ability to work independently and responsibly, managing tasks remotely.
6. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
8. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements.
10. Availability to work in overlapping time zones with the BWTT team.

A bookkeeper exam will be required before services can start.
