We are seeking a highly reliable and honest Bookkeeper to manage the financial records of several low-activity LLCs, mostly related to real estate. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing timely financial reports, and ensuring compliance with all accounting standards. Proficiency in QuickBooks and experience working with American companies are essential for this role. Effective communication with our CPA is crucial to ensure seamless financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Financial Record Keeping:
B. Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
C. Bank Reconciliation:
D. Accounts Payable & Receivable
E. Rent Payment Confirmation and Collection: Prepare and send invoices to clients, and track payments.
F. Tax Compliance: Assist in preparing documents and records for tax filings.
G. Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for the CPA, providing necessary financial information and clarifications.
H. Audit Support: Assist in the preparation and facilitation of internal and external audits.
Qualifications:
A. Experience:
– Minimum of 3-5 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably with multiple LLCs or similar entities.
– Proven experience working with American companies and familiarity with U.S. accounting practices and tax laws.
B. Technical Skills:
– Proficient in QuickBooks (having your own QuickBooks system is a must).
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
C. Soft Skills:
– Exceptional honesty and reliability.
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
– Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Certification in bookkeeping or accounting.
– Experience working remotely or in a telecommute position.
