We are currently looking for an organized, detail-oriented person to join our team as a Staff I Bookkeeper

Here are the things you will do:
• Prepare Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Bookkeeping and bank reconciliations
• Download Bank Statements – only when needed
• Setting up Client files in QuickBooks
• Sales Tax & Annual Tax Report Preparation
• Proforma Financial Statements
• Data Entry of Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet in Tax Software
• Prepare Workers Compensation/Disability Reports
• Assist Senior and Manager Staff when needed
• Payroll Report downloads from Payroll Service provider
• 1099s – Preparation
• Data Entry of 1040 Individual Tax Returns

Here is what you need to do this job:
• 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping
• 2+ years of tax experience (Business & Individual Taxes)
• Knowledge of Quickbooks Desktop and QB Online (Quickbooks certified a plus)
• Experience with tax software (Lacerte a plus)
• Experience with 1099 preparation (CFS Payroll a plus)
• Experience with client workflow management software (Karbon a plus)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of US Tax (Business & Individual)
