Would you happen to be a Number Master who is keen at problem solving and data processing?

Right now we are looking for a Bookkeeper

Valhalla would love to work with you and your expertise on (Required):

– Your Accounting knowledge and your understanding of Accounting best practices
– Your proficiency in spreadsheets (Google sheets, Microsoft Excel) and advance experience with spreadsheet formulas
– Your willingness to learn and adapt to custom systems
– Familiarity with Quickbooks
– Your attentiveness to opportunities to use critical thinking and can communicate complex data in a clear way
– Your high attention to details

Perhaps you might also have expertise with some of these (Bonus skills):

– You have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field
– You are a CPA
– You have previous bookkeeping experience
– You have experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas
– You have experience working with multiple currencies
– You have knowledge in Notion as a tool

You’ll be earning Php 25,000 – 55,000 (depending on skills)

Basically, we’ll be working on these responsibilities:

1. Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions by establishing accounts, posting transactions, and ensuring legal requirements compliance.
2. Develop a system to account for financial transactions by defining bookkeeping processes and systems.
3. Update and maintain the general finance spreadsheet by recording day to day financial transactions and recording debits and credits.
4. Reconcile entries into the accounting system to assert the accuracy of transactions.
5. Perform account receivable functions including invoicing, deposits, collections and revenue recognition.
6. Monitor any variances from the projected budget.
7. Create financial forecasts and predictions based on historical data.
8. The work will be challenging but we will provide training.
