Job Summary
As a Bookkeeper for an Office Furniture Installation Company, you will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs associated with office furniture installation projects. Your role is crucial in ensuring that the company can provide competitive and accurate quotes to clients, while also maximizing profitability and efficiency. You will work closely with project managers, sales teams, and suppliers to gather necessary information and develop comprehensive cost estimates for each project.

Shift: Night Shift – 12mn to 9am MNL
Key Responsibilities:
Project Assessment: Collaborate with the project management team and sales representatives to understand the scope of each office furniture installation project. This involves reviewing blueprints, layout plans, and other project-related documents to gain a thorough understanding of the requirements.
Cost Analysis: Conduct a detailed analysis of the project’s requirements, including furniture quantities, types, and specifications, labor requirements, material costs, equipment needs, transportation, and any other relevant factors impacting the overall project cost.
Cost Estimation: Utilize cost estimation software or spreadsheets to develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for each project. Present the estimates to the management team for approval before submitting quotes to clients.
Supplier and Vendor Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with furniture suppliers, manufacturers, and other vendors to obtain accurate and up-to-date pricing information. Negotiate favorable terms and discounts whenever possible to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Documentation: Maintain organized and detailed records of all cost estimates, quotes, and related documents. Ensure that all financial data is accurate and accessible for reporting and auditing purposes.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with cost estimation software and tools is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
• Knowledge of office furniture, space planning, and interior design concepts is beneficial.
