Job Description

We are looking for a full-time Bookkeeper who can help organize and manage our accounting tasks. This position will consume 40 hours a week.

Main Job Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities:
Qualifications

Knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles.
Minimum of two years of experience working with payroll, invoicing, accounts receivable and collections, accounts payable, and general ledger.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop, Microsoft Office, and Windows.
Prefer AA in accounting or business administration.
Proficiency in a System Administrative Software such as a plus.
Experience in QuickBooks Online is a plus.
The ideal candidate will be a team player with a customer service orientation and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and accuracy, confidentiality, and strong oral and written communication skills are important qualifications for this position.

Bookkeeping: 2 years (Required)
•check and verify source documents such as invoices and receipts
•reconcile and balance all accounts
•draw up financial statements (trial balance, income statement, balance sheet)
•collate and analyze account data and generate financial reports
•track and maintain inventory records
•maintain internal control systems
•manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
•prepare payroll
•comply with relevant reporting requirements
•calculate and prepare tax payments
•assist with budget preparation
•assist with audits
•maintain complete filing system to support financial records

Requirements and Qualifications:

-At least 3 years in accounting/bookkeeping
-Knowledge of data management and analysis
-Experience with QuickBooks & Xero Online
-Attention to details and efficient data collection
-Able to identify problems and proactively resolve issues
-Excellent communication skills
-Confidentiality and Integrity
– Must be willing to work during business hours, anytime between 8 AM to 5 PM Pacific Time
